How We're Funded

Softwood Export Council funding comes from membership dues, which cover operating expenses, and Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS) program funding, which is used to support overseas marketing activities. The FAS funding is allocated on a matching basis through which each dollar of industry support generates approximately nine dollars in FAS funding to promote softwood lumber products in foreign markets.
